Churchyard Tree is removed...
Following
the collapse of several large branches from a tree in the Churchyard,
it was decided, after consultation with tree surgeons, that the
whole tree should be removed. A new tree will be planted in replacement.
A quick count of the rings of the final stump, gave the tree's
age at approximately 250 years. |
