John Daimond's 5 mile walk |
He's
done it!
On Tuesday 9th September 2014, Revd. John Daimond completed the
planned 5 mile walk in Attingham Park grounds, near Shrewsbury.
John's goal was to complete the walk in order to raise sponsorship
funds for Cancer Research UK, to say 'thank you' for the tremendous
support they have given him during his illness. John was supported
on the day with over 30 friends joining him on the walk.
With the several sponsorship forms that were circulating around
Uffington and Pattingham, together with the online donation scheme,
a total of £3445 has been given to date. A tremendous achievement
!!! Well done John. |
