Pattingham Scarecrow Festival 2015

What a success ! Over 130 scarecrows! A record!

SCARECROW FESTIVAL BREAKS ALL RECORDS
CONGRATULATIONS to absolutely everyone who helped give Pattingham the most successful Scarecrow Festival ever at the end of September. Your scarecrows were fabulous - your help serving refreshments or by selling trail guides or stewarding in church invaluable - your many home baked cakes delicious - your support of the weekend events by getting friends and relatives to come along - ALL QUITE FANTASTIC - we cannot thank you enough.

We are now able to give you the RECORD BREAKING RESULT: £12,758.00 profit!! The Steering Committee have donated £5000.00 to St.Chad's School for the purchase of new IT equipment for the children - and the remainder will go to St.Chad's Church for the restoration of the stone cross over the porch (which will complete the porch project started with the 2011 Scarecrow Festival) with the balance going towards another Church project as yet undefined.
